Greetings. Apparently I only post these blogs when I need help (not a good habt I know) but I'm sure someone out there has an answer for me and I spent all night searching the web for a comprehensive answer ot my question.
I just got Flash CS3, and I'm trying to make one of those T-shirt designs where you can click a button and it shows you the placement or whatever. I am by no means a Flash guru, but I have worked with it a few times. The thing is that apparently they changed the EVERYTHING about making simple buttons in CS3 because they are using AS3. Can anybody give me a step by step on how to link my button to a frame? I have made a button and set the, up-down-hit. I can pull that button onto my stage, but I don't know how to set the button and write the action script to tell the button what to do. After hours of searching it looked to me like I need to make a new layer and have a separate from that contains the actionscript, but I couldn't find a run through of what to do. Maybe this is out of my league but it seems like something that should be SOOOO simple. Thanks to anybody who can help.
Hey all! I've got a question for all you Adobeheads out there. I'd like to know how you'all create the stylized dot shading in your designs. There is an example in the background of this one:
