i have been mia for a while, so ive missed quite a few loves. but when I first saw this contest headline I was less than interested. the only thought I gave it was something along the lines of "oh great a million skull shirts" but then I saw the link to the morbid curiosity exhibition (which is awesome.. I went to the mutter when I was a kid and ever since have a fondness for such things.

then i read "shirt has to have a skull somewhere on it" which instead of re-affirming my distaste for the loves it had the opposite effect. I mean we can all agree that the "skull shirt" is a staple, a national monument to the legacy of tshirt design. granted due to this there are many.. many terrible skull shirts. But oh the good ones, there are fewer things quite as satisfying as a solid skull shirt.

so I am excited to see what you guys have planned.

I drew this up, typical kinda oversize one color hatchy drawing. not my best drawing but it has a rougher less worked style that I am satisfied with.



I might even do another.
