Being 19 is...

Lame.

I am no longer 18 which is fun because you are a brand new adult. You have just got to college and moved out of the house. It's fun to tell people you are 18 because you are still "barely legal". Being 19 is totally lame. and being 20 is even worse. You are a full fledged adult, in school and working, paying bills, voting, but i still can't go out to a bar with my boyfriend. What the hell man...

i remember looking forward to being 21, and then when it happened I shurgged my shoulders. However, it is convenient to finally be able to buy your own beverages and not have to rely on your friend that uses his brothers id.

Yes bouncers are dumb a lot of the time. I have known more people with real IDs being accused of having fakes and never seen a friend with a fake get caught.

I never wanted to be 19 either, it just sounds a lot older than 18. But hey, now I'm 21.

Funny thing about 21 is that it's not a big milestone in my country, so I don't know why people see it as a huge celebration. We get to drive at 15, and drink at 18.

when i went to see Snakes on a Plane for the first time (first of three) they carded me THREE TIMES!

once to buy the ticket, once to rip my ticket, and once to enter the actual theater. whattafuck.

on the other hand, i was covered in rubber snakes, so i guess i might have looked like a trouble-maker
