(well, actually I moved in yesterday)

Yeah, when we got there, the girls' lacrosse team swarmed the van and asked if they could help. They moved all my stuff up to my room (on the second floor, around the corner, up steps) in less than 20 minutes! I barely had to carry anything!

Not much to talk about- well, too much, but anyway..
Oh, something to note: the rooms are not carpeted- I had to bring that carpet you see in the picture.. It makes the room SO much nicer, everyone around us is jealous, haha.
Also, it took all day in between orientation sessions to get the room finished and set up. We got done around midnight.

And here's Andy, my friend I've known for like, I think... three years online, over at this one art forum. It was pretty cool/random that he ended up here; I've never met him in person, since he lives in Texas and I'm in Georgia. We met up tonight at the Scholars Banquet, and then he and my friends Daniel and Sam came over to Dyson to hang out.


I'm pretty excited, college seems like it'll be a lot of fun.

But I love the features besides just simple drawing! I don't know if it's just an OS X thing, but you can use it to write words instead of typing! It's weird... Like, handwriting recognition, and I write horribly, and it still picks up the letters!

So, you people who use them to draw/paint... how long did it take you to get used to it? I think it won't be too hard, but it's proving more difficult than I would have thought.

By the way, it's a 4x5" Graphire 2 I got used from someone for $50, including 2-day shipping. I think it was quite a deal.

Just bored, thought I'd start a topic. So, any of you art students? What school(s) are you going to, and what classes are you taking or what are you majoring in?

I'll be starting at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, in two weeks.
I plan to major in Digital Photography, and minor in New Media Art.

Spend your money on something else! I don't get it; I see tons of these blogs where people are selling their threadless shirts as either worn once or never even worn. I have about ten threadless shirts, and I wear them all, all the time.. Where do you people get the money to waste? I've seen people with like thirty to forty shirts for sale!
Of course, I just spent $600 on a lens for my camera, but it was a deal!

Does anyone know where I can get pictures of people wearing blank shirts, so I can Photoshop my design onto them, like I've seen so many people do on here? Like this http://www.threadless.com/submission/88188/Monster_Mash_Up

Anyway, what do you think of the design? Any major adjustments to be made? I, myself, am pretty happy with it, but I just wanted to get a general consensus before I wasted 2 more weeks waiting for a reply from threadless after submitting..

I could understand declining some of my older designs, but I think this is my best one... Why did I have to wait two weeks for a reply from the "judges" only to have them decline it, without giving a reason? This really pisses me off. I wish they'd specify a reason. There's tons of really crappy designs on this site, and not saying this one is the greatest, but it's not crappy, I don't think. BAH.
Well, that's the end of that. It used to take 3 days, tops, to get a design put up. Threadless has gotten too big.
