• Because for me the community was always the blogs and the social media fragmented so there was no one clear hub.

  I'm not a designer, I'm an occasional voter and I cant afford to be a customer so the more I turn up I feel like I don't have a place here. Which is a damn shame because that's 7 years of my life. I loved this online community, why else would I fly out to Chicago two times to go hang out with the people in person? But when I look at the blogs today vs what it used to be that's long dead.

  What you see as complaining I see as trying to make a difference, I believe I'm highlighting issues.

  And I've tried just talking about random crap like we used to and you know what happens? it gets buried by all of the self promotion.

  As for the topic at hand the op wanted to discuss whether or not the tumblr gave people an unfair bias, the reason I ignored you is because you have absolutely no proof of that statement.

  And I'm sorry but its pretty obvious that if you give others access to a platform with more viewers their going to have a better chance of being seen than someone who doesn't have that advantage.

  Does it help people get printed? I have no idea there are too many different factors and we don't get to see that data but its still a bias.
