I say good for her. The fact that she didn't let the... mixed reception of her last song make her feel like a total failure is awesome. Most kids woulda been crushed. Glad she's having fun with it, even if it's "meh."

If I was as famous as her and got her money, I'd do the same thing, make more bad music, even if I got nightly death threats. She's smart, or her overbearing parents are smart.

I doubt she's having fun with "it", but having fun with thousands of easy dollars, raining on her like a burst pinata.
