Hey guys so I'm kind of confused, I'm trying to work out what the minimum wage is in London but I'm getting mixed messages.
I've been able to find figures for the national minimum wage (£5.93) but I keep coming across something called the London living wage £8.30 per hour but I also found articles saying that it cant be enforced. So is my wage actually going to be higher than minimum wage? I might have found a retail job with the largest book chains in the country, I'm just confused. If you guys could shine any light on it, that would be appreciated. thanks Phil

There is a thing called London weighting/living allowance, which is to recognise that it's more expensive to live here. I would think if it is a big national chain, that they probably do aplpy it, but I honestly couldn't be sure.
