According to the BBC, Libya has joined the like of Egypt and Tunisia and are trying to start a revolution.
According to the BBC the death toll in Libya has risen to 233 and and there are claims theres been a massacre in the green square, an area where people have been protesting. In a TV address Muammar al-Qaddafi's son vowed that his father and security forces would fight "until the last bullet." This is both incredible and scary, I mean for one regimes are toppling one after another very, very quickly but two the governments responses are getting even more violent. Tunisia seemed to come out of nowhere and President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali knew he was done so gave up quickly. In Egypt, the government held on for as long as it could and all though there were a few deaths (not to diminish them, every life is important) it was relatively peaceful and the military showed great restraint. But in Libya the response has been extreme and its probably going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
