What I heard was that these clips are from the upcoming season which starts in a couple of days. Katy Perry's segment has been cut from airing on television because of the feedback it received online.
but we have been at war for a looooooooong time now and i know more than a few of my buddies that have been over there 2x times and have had to leave their kids / wives whatever behind.
a lot of kids have had to deal with this so it makes sense they might try to address it on the show.
That's so sad. But I agree with maddingo. It makes sense that they'd try to address this since the show has always been a learning tool and this would help the kids understand what's going on with their own families when a parent has to deploy.
