I'm constantly looking for more people to take part, the more people who get involved the better, this will be awesome town. Please read below to sign up or alternatively head over to the website! ---------------------------------- Hey guys hows it going? So for the past few months I've been working on a super secret project thats finally ready to be unleashed upon the world, The Travelling Camera Club! The Travelling Camera Club is a community driven art project devoted to showing us a snapshot of your world, by posting disposable cameras around the world, from person to person. Once a disposable camera is full of photos it will get posted back to The Travelling Camera Club H.Q where I'll develop them, put the photos online for everyone to see! To make it even more awesome town the photos from that camera will then get put through a voting proccess (as decided by you) and the winning photo will beprinted as a super high quality art prints, thats also super limited, serriously each batch will be limited to 100 prints! that will be available to purchase through the website! If your photograph is the winning one you'll recieve a copy of your print, plus a super secret package from me! Sound like fun? Want to get involved? All you have to do is email us at travellingcameraclub@googlemail.com with the following as the subject line: travelling camera club followed by your user name (preferably from using Ning the ning website but threadless is fine). For example SUBJECT: travelling camera club stubby43 in the body The body of the email should include the following information real name Address Willing to buy a camera Willing to post internationally Alternative ways of contacting you, e.g twitter, facebook, youtube, alternative email addresses or anything else you can think of. Then just head over to the website to take part in the fun. Well be in touch as soon as possible and integrate you into the project. Hope to hear from you, Phil @Travelling Camera Club H.Q Note: Unfortunately we wont be able to cover expenses but as the community and the project grows in popularity and the prints start to sell out (heres hoping), this may be subject to change. ----------------------------- Please check out the website for more info and sign up, I'll be doing a lot of the updates out of the website and thats where the photos are going to betravelling cameraclub.com thanks Phil ---------------------------- P.S two things I'd like to add, first of all thanks to Brentendo for designing the logo he did an amazing job and was super patient with me and my requests. Secondly I'd like to take this opertunity to address the issue of pic it forward, pic it forward was an amazing project we developed on the threadless blogs and the Travelling Camera Club couldnt be possible without it but I think its time to retire that project. It lost a lot of energy, mistakes were made and I really wanted to start with a clean slate. Thanks Phil.
