I love chester, you should come visit


Serriously, chester is the only place I know of where you can run into a Roman centurion.

Also I'm walking on the walls of chester, their mainly tudor but parts of them still have the roman walls in so their almost 2000 years old.

When I was in Rome there were dudes dressed up as centurions and gladiators all around the ancient city and the Colloseum....they'd take their picture with you, but then demand you pay them money and get really angry if you tried to walk away.

It was beautiful....but also hot, and crowded, and dirty, and expensive. Worth a visit though. :)

It's probably much better to visit in the offseason than from May-August.

Hahaha, that's awesome. At first, I thought it was going to be a video of LARPers. We get those on campus later at night. I have yet to see them though. I'll try to catch them some time.

I've never seen LARPers, well not in person the closest I've gotten is tv and his costume is far more bad ass/authentic than theirs.



If you do see them I would love to see that footage.



Also I always want to talk to these guys but they usually have a tour group with them.



The school groups are the best because they give out roman helmets and shields to the kids then teach them a roman chant which they shout whilst walking around the city.

we have a place called chester here, but it's the southern ghetto of philadelphia. not as cool perhaps.

That chester does sound extremely different to my chester, I'm not sure I'd want to go but I do want to go to Philly.
