Have you ever just watched a movie that you just got, like it described where you were at, at that moment in life?

I've watched two movies that were about where I am in life, the first was clerks

which I got around to watching for the first time a couple of days ago and the second was adventureland

I've uttered the phrase "I'm not even supposed to be here today" too many times.

The only difference is I'm single.

What movies did you just get?

Hahaha. Yes, I can definitely relate to Clerks. I think it might be a twenty-something thing, especially if you work in retail or customer service....that feeling that you're wasting your best years working for minimum wage.

I had sex with a dead guy once, so I too can relate to Clerks.

Being a 20 something sucks espcially when you graduate university and realise no ones hiring so you take something that way below your skill level and you sort of get stuck.

I've been working in a super market for 7 months.

I liked clerks apart from the ridcolous stuff, I was really supprised because I've hated everything Kevin Smith has ever done.

But I guess it doesn't take a rocket scientist for people to figure that out.

And for a bit of explication, I was going through a lot over the past summer, which is when 500 Days came out. A lot of questioning of myself and about what this "love" thing is that everyone's talking about. It just hit all the right notes with me.

No, really. I watched it for the first time by myself at two in the morning on a laptop in bed...and it was completely unlike any movie I'd ever seen. The morbidity and dark comedy was completely my sense of humour, but I'd never encountered that before. It was funny and very very sad and I couldn't believe I was seeing what I was seeing.

There's the part when he scares his date off and she runs out of the room, and it's a close shot and his mother is looking furious and he slowly makes eye contact with the camera and smirks, and it was like...oh, I get it. This movie is about me. Hah. I think a lot of people can see themselves in Harold AND in Maude, and I love that about the movie.

I randomly caught Harold and Maude on TV. It was the part when Maude first gives Harold the banjo. I should watch it from the beginning.

I love Vivian Pickles.

he'd better not take me to dinner after I spent all that time making it. And it was really hard too because my family went to the cabin and took everything in the fridge.

Well. Guys take inordinate amounts of time to prepare for dates with pretty girls. Bathing, grooming, general psyching out, it's all key to how the evening will transpire.

Freddy got Fingered, not that I got fingered....or did any fingering. I think I had just drawn a centaur before I watched this and then saw this....

I liked the idea of him making an animation and having to work at a cheese factory. I'll shut up now as I know lots of people hate this film.

*can't find little letters.

I laughed all the way through FGF.
