Every now and again I've heard threadfolk talk about this show but I never really got round to watching it.

I finally decided to go for it but trying to find episodes of it has been a stunning disaster, the dvds have never been released in the UK (and I dont own a dvd player that can play them) and I cant find anywhere that streams the episodes.

But Itunes has come to the rescue!

but because its on itunes its no longer just something I can try out and be ok, it wasnt great but atleast I didnt waste any money (something I'm lacking).

So my question is, is it worth it?

I can buy an episode for £1.89 each or get the whole series for £10.99.

p.s just to make things clear I'm talking about season 1.

i'd buy an episode, then if you like it, buy the series!

i'm guessing people will tell you it's worth it.

I just worked it out and it comes to £13.23 if I buy each episode, or £10.99 for everything at once.

but if I buy one episode then the series, £12.88.

this is very nit picky.

I think I'm just going to buy an episode.

Oh and Jeff, their really strict on always sunny, I went on tv links and surf the channel but everything from season one has been taken down.

it's definitely worth it, but you might not like it after just one episode. it's one of those shows that takes a few episodes to understand what's going on. plus, danny devito's character doesn't come along until season 2.

I'm not familar with the phrase, but I'm assuming thats a bad thing?

I might just say fuck it and buy the series anyway and take everyones word for it.

You'll understand once you watch it. You'll understand so much more about life in general really.

I just started watching it and am 6 eps into the first season, and I loved it from the first episode Brian. It's one of those "hit the ground running shows", where the characters already feel fully formed and have been living their lives and getting into these kinds of adventures and just now the cameras have been turned on. I heard it gets even funnier with Danny Devito and such so I'm pretty excited about seeing more of the show.

It's also kinda cool that one of my friends at work's husband is best friends with Mack and was in the "Charlie Get Cancer" epas the guy who said at the end "Dude, is that a hate crime?" and still gets residuals a couple times a year for a few hundred bucks for that one line! Apparently he and Mack are opening up a bar in Philly called MACK'S and I'm TOTALLY gonna approach Mack at the bar opening and ask him if he could wear a Made With Awesome shirt on the show next season.....it's probably overstepping things, but you'll know if i've succeeded if you see one on him in an ep!

whole series - if you like it, yay!; if you don't like it, then hey, you gave it a shot!

It's a fun show. I like it.

Season Three of "It's Always Sunny" is finally living up to the "Best Comedy Show Since The Last Best Comedy Show" title I heard so much about.

The green man acid tripping inner monolouge-having season opener is AMAZING. One of the best comedy eps on ANY show I've seen in ages.

And holy shit, just watched Charlie becoming a lawyer for an episode whose only lawyer education is from watching people lawyering their asses off in "Law & Order" kind of just blew my mind.

The reasoning for coming up and practicing with a cat-killing conveyor belt by the gang is also a wonderful sight to see. This season, Danny Devito's character finally makes sense to me and really expands on his role...before this season, I didn't really see a reason for his character being there besides, "Hey look, Danny Devito's in a TV show!"

I enjoyed the first season but I do feel like I'm waiting to start the 3rd season, how was season 2?

season 2 has some good episodes, but I prefer the 3rd season, it has some top notch episodes (Sweet Dee's Dating a Retarded Person is probably my favorite episode of the series)
