If I'm staying in downtown Los Angeles, CA which airport is better to fly into?

Burbank, CA, United States (BUR-Bob Hope)
Long Beach, CA, United States (LGB-Long Beach Municipal)
Los Angeles, CA, United States (LAX-Los Angeles Intl.)

please and thank you.

LGB is really tiny, but if you're flying Jet Blue I always like LGB. LAX is a lot bigger.

I don't live in LA, but I've flown there a number of times. I've never flown in BUR.

Well I'm thinking of going to vidcon a youtube/social media convention which is being held at Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, basically if I'm getting a taxi I dont want to be too far away from the hotel and I know LA is huge.

I'm trying to work out if I can afford the trip.

Burbank is quite outside the city.. There is an Amtrak station just in front of the airport, but there are no trains on Sundays (which I learned after landing there on a Sunday and the sign said "Next train in 12 hours")

I didn't have any problems with LAX, there is an airport shuttle that takes you to the downtown station..

I have no idea about taxi prices in LA since I managed to take the metro or a bus everywhere..

Thanks for the help trindli, so is it actually fairly easy to get around?
