On sunday I went to liverpools mathews street music festival. Basically what happens is they close down the centre of liverpool for a daymaking it impossible for cars to drive through, they set up a load of big stages then get a tone of the best cover bands in the world to come play.

The shows are free, all you have to do is show up at the centre and walk around town, its a good time (but it gets it a bit rough towards the end because everyones been drinking all day).









This couple just shouted at me whilst I was walking past taking photos and asked me to take a portrait of them which I was happy to do so, I sent them the photos over email and I got this response:

Just got into work and got a lovely reminder of a great day!
You took a great portrait! Cannot tell you how pleased I am with them. There are some genuine people who do nice things in this world!
