I've never really played but am I right in saying that there isnt really a story for the WoW games, its just a big world?

So I guess that gives them alot of freedom to build a story, it might not be bad, pirates of the caribbean had even less to go on and they pulled out something decent.

Still I dont think I want a WoW movie.

There's a story, but I'm not sure how cohesive it really is. I forsee many many many battle scenes.

The games are fairly free roaming but there is a main plot with which things are held together and there is a story which follows through with each expansion

ENTERING NERD MODE

I seriously always thought that Diablo II would've made a sweet fantasy movie if the costumes, special effects, and acting was on par with the LOTR movies.

Last year Hasbro signed a deal with Universal to develop several films based on their board games, including Battleship, Magic The Gathering, and a remake of Clue.

Michael Bay is producing the Ouija Board movie.

Ridley Scott is directing Monopoly.

I shit you not.

Will people that play WoW leave their computers long enough to go see the movie?
