Blog Five - From Comic Book Panel to Screen - Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World from Scott Pilgrim The Movie on Vimeo.

Ok so they've been releasing video blogs of the film for the past couple of months but this is probably the best one cause you actually get to see locations and the actors.

I'm actually really looking forward to this movie even though I havent read the comic (I'm thinking of picking it up).

P.S is Edgar wright wearing a threadless tee?

I really love the fact that their using real world locations, i think at times thats what western media lacks.

I really want to but I'm very broke and theres no sign of a job on the horrizons.

I also just bought a threadless tee so you know buying comics is probably a bad idea.

Mate the comics didnt really come out here, the only way you'd know about them if someone told you about it.

We dont really have a comic book culture in the UK, comic books only started becoming mainstream (by that I mean picked up by national chains) two years ago, before that comics were the reserve of the comic book store with all the geekdom that entailed.

Comics werent cool.

P.S we were getting comic book movies before people were reading them so I dont think we ever really got the full picture.
