I've been going through a bit of an anime drought lately, havent really found anything that that interested me and the ones that did, well their too big e.g neon genesis evangelion but I stumbled across a brand new anime today (litterally, there are only three episodes out) and its awesome town.



Its called k-on! I'd tell you what the story is but honnestly there isnt one, its just a slice of life (if you liked little miss sunshine its kind of like that), its about a group of girls who form a rock band as part of an after school club.

Its alot better than it sounds, plus the opening sequence and end songs are pretty decent, though I'm still trying to work out the japanese obbession with throwing in random english phrases.
