discovering the joys of meetup.com

Dont know if anyone else has heard of it (I'm probably pretty late to the party) but Meet up is a website designed to help like minded people meet up in their respective areas.

This sites amazing mainly because I've found groups near by me deadicated to the creative industries, web design, film, tv and the likes.

It also looks like it could be a great way to network and get jobs.

I dont know, apparantly the biggest group on meetup is stay at home mothers.

Their the bane of everybodies existence.

I just wish their were meet up groups in york (where I live at the moment), actually there are meet up groups in york but there not groups I want to join/cant join.
