How do you run a bath and other such questions that dont need answering.

I'm bored and procasinating from doing work so I thought I'd ask stupid questions.

The first one:

How do you run a bath? do you put the hot water in first then cold water to cool it down or do you put the cold water in then hot water to warm it up?

My boiler doesnt work properly so I have to do one at a time, after a while it runs out of hot water so I put cold water in, then it runs out of cold water so I have to wait till it decides its got enough water and I mix as appropriate.

I'm left handed, but am un aware if my favourite authors are left or right handed, I'm suprised you know.

Your boiler doesn't determine the cold water, that's just the water tank. You've probably got a dead rat or something plugging up the water pipe.

But check your water tank, the overflow part is probably broken.

British plumbing is so peculiar.

It's either pre-modern (like the lack of mixer taps) or cool-spiff modern (like the on-demand water heaters, which are just starting to make their appearance in North America).

It's as if the whole building trades said "screw it" to the whole 20th Century.

I usually turn the heat on full blast, and walk into the shower backwards.
