apparantly if you make a fake lense hood like this:



It produces images like this:



I dont get it, surely most of the paper is blocking the light completly so wouldnt the image you get just be black with an image in the vut out shape?

the light is hitting the heart shaped hole from a bunch of different directions, that's why you get a whole bung of them.....i think?
