I've been up for a little over 24 hours but my mum wont let me go to bed because I have to get into a normal sleeping pattern, cut me some slack.

My family has always been on the crazy sauce, we used to sing nursery rhymes whilst doing the dishes to keep us entertained... and to stop us from argueing.

Yup unfortunatly, leaving was one of the hardest things I've done in my life, it hurt a hell of alot more than last time partly because I was closer with my friends and that its going to be alot harder for me to get back out there (close to impossible).

I wouldnt mind being home for a couple of weeks then head straight back out, but its not going to happen.

Whew.

Glad to know you got back safely.

Did someone pick you up at Heathrow?

Yeah my parents picked me up, the strangest thing was hearing all the british voices, I had trouble understanding people.

For the last few months I've been the only british guy around, the canadian accent is what I'm used to and I ajust my language so people can understand me easily so coming back and hearing all these other voices was odd.

I can imagine. Well, I've experienced.

How long will it take / has it taken for you to get back in the rhythm?
