Yay for idiots - I met a girl who didnt know england exists.

So I'm pretty sure I met the stupidest I've seen in my entire life last night, and sorry girls shes really letting the side down.

She didnt know England existed.

The conversation went like this:

Friend: This is Phil he's from England

Girl: are you from Germany?
Me: No I'm from England
She stares blankly at me
I'm a little bit confused now so I try a new tact
Me: I'm from Britain.
Girl: is it near germany?
Me: Um kind of, theres a few countries in between and were an island.
Girl: do you speak german.
Me: No I speak english
Girl: Oh

Then I walked away very fast.

The sad thing is their probably different girls but its pretty sad really, I mean you can go deep into the heart of india where they have no education and they can name England and canada. Ok so they'll probably only know the sterotypes but at least their aware that the country exists.
