I missed the only bus that takes me to work so I called in sick, i'm an intern doing a job I dislike so I'm struggling to be motivated.



my job is to watch 300 hours of footage, make notes and download them to a computer, it would be ok cept the computer hasnt arrived so all i'm doing is watching tapes and because the way computers work when I download them I have to watch them again.



Basically until the computer arives I'm wasting my time.

ps, I'm trying to plan a trip to saskatoon its way prettier than regina, then I'm trying to head up to prince alberta so I can see tree's and hills.

Ahh yeah Saskatoon is quite pretty....that's an advantage of being built right on a river. The PA area is kind of odd....you'll be driving on the prairie and all of a sudden, boom, you're surrounded by forest.

its ok, I'm watching footage of guys rafting down the ganges in india, but the thing is their recording two hours a day, now out of that two hours maybe 30 minutes is interesting the rest is dull.



Ok the hours are alright its a 9 to 5 (if I wasnt getting the bus) but being a pa is so much better, your on location and its exciting you have alot to do and you talk to people even if it is a 414 hour day.



as an editor I'm sat in a room with three other editors but its solitary, people just stare at screeens and put their show together, theres only talking if people feel lazy and the three guys i'm working with are making a movie together so it centres around that and i'm cut out.



the only reason I stick at my job is the hope that I can get a work visa out of it,

thats what i'm looking forward to, reginas so far south every tree is planted which is pretty fucked up.



that and the only hills are in a valley, I want to see saskatoon simply because regina people hate it because its saskatoon.
