I'm pretty stoked right now, I finally got access to a computer which means I can actually do my job.

P.S I'm interning at a film company as an assistant editor my job is to download 150 hours of tapes and write notes on each one but they didn't have a computer for me and the ceo was in europe so they couldn't get permission to buy one.

They still haven't but one of the editors has the day off today so I'm using his computer.

They'll probably be ordering one soon, so hopefully I'll have a brand spanking new laptop from apple by next week.

I dont have that much to do, I've already watched about 20 tapes and made notes plus arranged them into the correct order (they labeled them pretty badly) so all I have to do is set the clip downloading for an hour and check back on it.

I dont know my boss says its we can surf the net as long as we get our work done.



I'm actually more worried that I'm not helping out enough, the problem is I work in editing which means theres not a whole lot to do. When you edit you kind of just sit at a computer on your own, you dont need help and I dont really talk to the other departments plus all the company is really doing at the moment is editing or preparing productions so it kind of seems I'd be getting in the way, that and I have my job to do.



I mean should I be doing stuff like making everyone teas and coffee?
