I've actually found the twitter stuff more interesting, aparantly people have been #invented as a joke, now everyone is doing it so its become a popular trend on twitter.

Plus theres this neat feature I'd never seen bfore called twitter search, it shows you what everyones talking about at the moment which is mainly, Mc Cain claiming to invent the blackberry, Obama and the potential collapse of AGI.

I'm supposed to mainly use it for pic it forward project updates but make other comments. I dont know why because I'm fairly certain people arent reading it.

Its easier to update that a normal blog but other than that I dont really understand the point of it.

I kind of understand how its useful for companies because if people are talking about you then you get short headlines for example I searched for threadless and one of the comments was "I like DBH way better than the cartoony threadless".

Twitters a micro blogging service, all you do is write short updates no more than 140 words, no one seems to have any idea whats so ever why they do it, its all pretty pointless.

dont worry mate no one really gets it, the only real purpose for it is self promotion there are bloggers who use twitter as another way to keep and build a following but they also have their own blogs and update with pictures all the time.

I think part of twitters appeal is the possibility of making yourself internet famous.
