Or more to more precise are their any new bands that are poltical (in terms of their songs?).

The last bands I can remember being political were green day and NOFX and they werent exactly good.

I know theres alot more from the 60's and 70's but off the top of my head I cant think of any.

check out "one day as a lion"

it's the singer from rage (and others of course) and his lyrics continue to be very political. again, check out ruckus.com to get all their stuff for free.
