Yeah Dan - I looked for a flat around Butler's Wharf but quickly stopped looking when I saw the prices. The wharf building appartments and cobbled streets there are awesome. And there's an ace Sam Smith pub there as well.
I love how organic London is compared to the American block cities. But I still love you America.
Boston is fairly organic... the streets were mostly once cow paths. And it's tough to tell people how to get around if they aren't using public transport. And oh hey, these pictures are from boston.com.
London is awesome on a map you can see how it hs grown, street by street like rings on a tree. I't so organic and quite unique.
Tesco - I guess that's why they call it 'The Knowledge'. It can be a warren-run. I actually had to look to see where the sun was to get my bearings in the City area to orientate myself when I first moved there.
I was like an urban Bear Grills, but less of a cunt.
After about a year or two of London living, I stopped getting the tube across town and started getting taxi's so I could place the in between bits of my regular journey's better. Very rewarding until I got to Manor House.
