Everything is against me a.k.a the company I was flying with has gone bankrupt

As some of you may know I'm going to canada for 3 months but I've been having alot of problems getting there, I had a disaster recently and found out I needed to get a work visa so I had to put the trip on hold until I can get my paper work.

Well I just found out the company I'm flying with has gone bankrupt, they've gone into administration and we've no idea if we'll be able to get my money back.

If I cant get my money back in time then I might not be able to book another flight so its a bit of a headache to say the least.

ok, i'm not trying to be a bitch here, but...maybe booking with someone called Zoom Airlines might not've been the best of ideas?

Poop! I saw that on the news this morning. I was surprised that they were still going up to now, since it must cost airlines a lot to fly transatlantic. Did you book the flights with your credit card? If so, there may be some come back that way since purchases are often insured.

Dom I could do with the comedy now because its a if I dont laugh I'll cry moment, I flew with them last year and they were fine, ok the planes were a bit old fashioned but it was a budget flight so you cant expect that much.

Deb it was bought on credit card so were hoping to get some money back but where not bothering today because we'll never get through.

ahhh..yes, credit cards offer trip insurance most of the time! Did you charge it on your Super Debt Card?

I'm sure we'll get this sorted out, its just extra stress I dont need, the problem is alternative flights could be more expensive and I can barely afford the ones I'm on now.
