Dont you hate it when a plan falls apart?
I got up at 6am so that I could go down to the swimming pool for the early morning swim only to get there and find out that the pool was closed because their repairing it.

Serriously its a hole with water in what could possibly need repairing?

Maybe but its been closed since the 18th and opening again on the 1st of september so it sounds like major work.

Wouldnt know this was supposed to be the first, I'm in pretty bad shape so I was supposed to be doing it every day until I head out to canada but its going to be put on hold now.

Maybe try taking lots of walks instead. That's pretty healthy and it doesn't feel like you're having to exercise TOO much. It helps if you make up destinations too... like tell yourself that you're going to walk to a certain store or something so you have a goal/reward at the end of the trip.
