Custom Kicks! Maki, hog boy, Sonmi and Ste7en and Manos and franx

Saw the book in a major uk music store today, the books awesome and I was kind of taken aback by the fact that it was there. Its made by Maki and has quite a few threadless alumni, including hog boy, Sonmi and Ste7en and Manos and franx.

I didnt buy it because I'm broke but its on my shoping list.

I badly want the book, that and some custom shoes.

I was wondering though how long they actually last, Julias was done with a sharpie so I cant imagine that they would hold up in the rain.

Its only $10? thats insane, in the shop is was �16 which is rougly $30.

books like that are always majorly expensive in stores. I was going to by that 8-bit art book at a little knick knack store and they wanted 35 for it

Yeah but thats one hell of a profit margin if they can make money selling it at �5.

That 8 bit art book does look sweet.

There were a couple of trainer books that I quite fancied, but there were also tee shirts, like 300 % cotton.

I could buy art books all day and never have enough, I'm the same way with magazines.

nah you cant make a profit at 5 pound when you consider the work that maki put into it, printing costs, distribution and logistics.

someone is missing out, probably maki.
