I'm writing an essay about how I went and got work placements with uk film/tv companies and I want to write about how competitive the industry is but I'm struggling to find quotes.

I need one that tells me how many students graduated with a media degree last year
and maybe one that talks about how hard it is to get a job

I know stuffs been written on this but I'm finding it very hard to simplfy my phrasing so I get a result I'm after.
