Unfortunalty the stories not about me, its about my dad.

Back in the day, when my dad was a lad (about 8 or 9) his favourite ride at the park was the roundabout, now in those days you could go extremly fast on a roundabout, not like the modern ones that have alot of safteys installed to slow it down.

Anyway my dad had an amazing idea, he was going to hang onto the bars of the round about whilst his mates pushed him round as fast as they could. He hoped he'd fly around then would jump off and be fine after a little adrenalin rush.

He was half right, he did spind around with his body in the air, he didnt get off safely. Instead he was sucked underneath it and was stuck.

They had to get the fire fighters round to lift the roundabout off, much to the hilarity/horror of everyone around.

My dad unfortunatly had broken his leg.

two weeks later he was at school, in a cast with crutches.

An angry dog came thundering down the play ground, tackled my dad and tried to rip his leg off.

....

That was more amusing in my head.

That sounds quite painful! I loved those thins when I was a kid.

They have safety devices on those things now? That is a crime!

I don't know how amused I would be if that happened to me.

I stabbed myself in the chest with a pencil once when I was like six....you might still be able to see the mark
