they might be giants - make kids programs?


So everyone knows they might be giants and if you havent heard of them, you'll atleast know their most famous piece, the malcom in the middle theme tune.

Well they might be giants started releasing albums aimed at kids and started doing podcast and youtube videos for them.

Why are so many good bands starting to do work aimed for kids?

Theres the aquabats with the tv program yo gabba gabba.

the aquabats are behind yo gabba gabba? i've actually only seem clips with kids dancing and a sid&marty kroft-syle monster.

but i never catch a 'sode.

i can't see the video's but i can attest that their ABC's dvd/cd is quite possibly the most excellent thing ever and that i'm really excited to get the 123 version

also TMBG do the opening theme song for some weeblewobble disney kid's show, but do not let that fool you into thinking it is any good

One of the members of the aquabats is behind yo gabba gabba, I forget which one but yeah the shows kind of cool, kind of like sesame street for a modern generation.

no travis, Yo Gabba Gabba was actually created by i believe the lead singer of the Aquabats.

haha i was going to mention the yo gabba gabba by the lead singer of the aquabats if you didnt mention it already in the blog.

It really wouldnt suprise me if the bare naked ladies got involved with yo gabba gabba, or went kid friendly they've got a fairly similar vibe to they might be giants and the aquabats.

this barnaked ladies version of one week just makes me happy.



But yeah yo gabba gabba has some pretty amazing people involved including Biz Markie.

Yo Gabba Gabba is a pretty cool show, especially for that age/audience. The lead aquabats guy did create it with a friend of his. It has guest bands come do little bits here and there.
