As most of you know I spent last semester studying in sasketchewan in canada and I got back to the uk on the 22nd of december so you'd think I'd of had plenty of time to ajust to the uk but I really havent.

I got back, then it was christmas then I was working as a christmas temp at my old job and catching up with friends but I've come back to university and theres almost no one around, and the people that are around all have work to where as I have nothing to do until the 28th of january.

Oh and its raining, alot.

I've never really liked living in the UK, I've dreamt about leaving since I was 12 and now I've had a taste of living in a different country and experienced the lifestyle I want to live I cant get it off my mind the first thing I did when I got home was buy a book about immigrating to canada.

2 weeks isn't a long time at all. It took me longer than that after San Diego, and I was only there a fortnight.

It doesnt help that I'm missing my friends, we hung out almost every single day and we'd actually do stuff instead of going out drinking constantly like going on a road trip to moose jaw because it had hills and we wanted to go down them on long boards or going out sledding which basically meant being dragged behind a truck holding onto a piece of rope.

I was living in regina, so I was actually in a city its not an amazing city but its a hell of alot better than living in a small town (which most people do).

Hahahaha!

It's from the song "Saskatchewan" by Les Trois Accords...it's about a guy whose girl leaves him for somebody from Regina.

My friends went to Japan on a school exchange, and their group was very very excited to find "The Last Saskatchewan Pirate" on a karaoke machine over there.
