Well I'm back home in the uk and supprisingly I'm not feeling jet lag (it took me three days to recover the first time) its probably because I've been traveling so much, yesterday flying from jfk to toronto to the uk I was up for 24 hours (but traveled about 30 hours) and managed to get six hours sleep on the plane.
Predictably non of my friends are about, there on skiing holidays this time of year but whatever its normal. I'm about to go out and do a bit of christmas shopping then I'll post a real blog going over as much as I can. In brief though, on the flight home I was surrounded by brits it was so strange even when I was in canada I stayed away from the other brits (three of them, they were being stupid and argueing, drinking all the time and getting themselves into trouble, I really wasnt interested) almost all my friends were canadian so to be suddenly surrounded by british accents after four months was odd (I was thrown in at the deep end because the people sitting next to me were from glasgow and I found it extremely difficult to understand what they were saying). I came home on a day that epitomised British weather, it was dark, gloomy and wet, oh and whilst everyone was freezing I was hot, 6 degrees celcius will never seem cold again. Anyway gotta go talk to you guys later.
