I love it when it turns out, the class had to take four portrait photos of the proffessor using a light kit and the same room, we al had 20 minutes to take our shots then onto the next person.

We shot with black and white film and the prof developed it.

In other news I shot two rolls of film and developed them successfully but I cant make prints because the equipment managers gone on strike so were not allowed it the room.

Thank you I'm really proud of it as well, coming from a guy who's not into portrait photography.

1: too grainy.

2: overexposed, but i can dig it if you clean up the dust and crop it to improve composition

3: blurry

4. overexposed and weak composition

2 is your best.

i think the grainyness and overexposier works for some reason. i like them all except the last one's blurryness bugs the crap out of me

I've never actually seen any of the prints only in digital form, the proffesor scanned it so thats probably why its so grainy.

number two, I'm not sure about the over exposed but the dust I agree on, but it also looks like the negative was scratched.

3. major camera shake, plus over exposed.

4. was basically a problem with the limitations of the room, where ever we put the light it was shinning maiking it obvious it was pointed there.

the composition is there because the doodles are supposed to represent thoughts, I got class mates to draw all over whilst I was setting up other shots.

It was also designed for an extreme wide angle/ panoramic photo.

number 2 is overexposed. look at his face... that's overexposed... there's no detail... just white.

Ok I just ran it through my basic photo editing program and tweaked it, it is over exposed but I'm not sure if it looks better.

but yeah my other stuff should be alot better, I looked at them on the enlarger today and the problems going to be choosing which ones I want to make prints of.

but that doesnt matter now since there on strike.

I get a bit annoyed when people yell 'overexposed!!!!" if you can't see every detail on a person's face. I think the contrast in 2 is used really well for dramatic effect.

And I love the mystery of 1. Including the grain.

Not to hate on you, Dan!
