I like your 365 shot :)

Thank you, I've been having alot of trouble with my 365 shots because the univeristy campus is kind of limiting (i.e I find it boring and un inspiring) but the light out today was amazing which made a hell of a difference.

I cant, I'm using a point a click camera I can change the ISO and the exposure but thats about it.

I'm getting a DSLR for christmas but until then I'm suck with my little 5 mega pixel camera.

on a side note I'm starting to enjoy working with film cameras my only problem is when it comes to developing the film I keep making mistakes my trip to matoba I over developed the film, theres still images but it'll take way more time than I have in the dark room to get a good photo.

But right now I'm planning out my portfolio piece, it has to have a theme and I'm fairly certain I'm going with the canadians, an outsiders persepctive on canadian life.

i don't understand what you're saying. what do you mean you can change the exposure?

you can still influence the in camera metering if you change the ISO. for instance, if you're shooting 200ISO film and you're getting consistently overexposed shots, you can tell your camera that you're shooting with 100 instead. that will give you exposures that are more like what you want

My camera has a setting called long exposure, so I can set it f0r 0.5 seconds to 8 seconds.

But if I change it to a long exposure it takes all my other settings back to a default.

thanks for the tips though.

no... shit. i lied. if you are shooting with 200 ISO and your pics are overexposed, tell it you're using 4oo (or something higher than 200).

film with higher numbers are more sensitive so your camera would adjust as such

The higher the ISO the more sensitive it is to light, I just bought a 3200 film for my film camera and thats mainly for shooting at night or in dark places so you were right the first time.

But thanks for jogging my memory I need to start using those features more on my camera.
