O'hare arrivals thursday!

Hey guys, well this is a complete list of everyone arriving on thursday at 0'hare and I was thinking it might be a good idea if some of us meet up and then go off to the mish mash rather than making our own way there, now of course it would silly to expect people like reilly and jen to wait until marblecargirl and rambunkcious get in (waiting 8 hours is a little un fair) but if we spit ourselves into smaller groups it could work.

Either way I'll be flying into terminal 2, I'll be wearing party goblin and holding a sign that says stubby43.

Anyway heres the list.

So... you're proposing we wait until 8:30ish, including the people who show up at noon? That seems like it might suck a little for them, and plus what if people get hungry or want to explore? I guess it's up to them...

Do you guys think we should wait until that late to check into our hotels?

No, did you read the stuff at the top? maybe split into four groups, 11:45am to 1pm

2:10 till 3:45

4:09 till 5:20pm

and 7pm till 8:45

Ok, smaller groups sounds better. I wouldn't mind waiting for phil and ir0cko to get in since we're staying in the same room... but once they're in, I say we check in and grab some pizza!!

Actually, those outlined groups may not make sense since cbuchholz and funkie fresh are also in our rooms... it's up to them if they would like to wait for us or not. But we might lock 'em out of our rooms if they do! Muahahahahahaha.

I dont mind waiting for people just as long as I'm in a group, I'm locked out until Kevin and Hannah arrive and I get the feeling that wont be until late.

chelly, I certainly don't blame you! I kind of want to check in a.s.a.p. as well. I think waiting for the rest of the people that we're sharing a hotel room with might be a good idea unless they're certain they can navigate to Travelodge by themselves.

i don't want to speak for ian of course, but if you are still at the airport and want to travel to the hotel i don't see anything wrong w/ that

EVERYONE ELSE - i read on one of the bazillion chicago sites that the best place in town to get a burger is at o'hare, just in case you are hungry and waiting

i wish i could give a more specific answer, but i have no idea what kind of mood i'll be in once we land at the airport. this is my first flight ever and i'm still very intimidated by the process and also by the train system that will get us to the hotel and also also the hordes of new people.

I'll be waiting around till you get here, Its just I dont think there getting in till something like 8pm.

As for traveling the scariest bit is security, you feel like your going to get caught even though you know you've done nothing wrong, the only time I felt fine was when I was actually on the plane because before that I was nervous about missing my flight.

But being nervous is a good thing because it means your extra prepared, I was waiting at the gate an hour before my flight so I was never going to miss it.
