Sasketewan is annoying

It might not just be the province it might be the entire country but the drinking laws are shit.

Your not allowed to drink in public places, which would be fine (although why the hell its a $125 fine I dont know) but the university counts dorms as a public place meaning you can only drink in a dorm room, if your alchol is open the RA's will take it off you and dump it.

So your forced into a tiny room with 20 other people.

I need to go to a bar.

I could tell the meaning of a word like serene

Yup, I'm in regina the capital of the province.

I really hope things pick up soon because I've not had the most amazing time in the world so far.

I have been ill to the point where everything inside me wants out one way or the other because i drank the water.

I got slapped with a $500 bill that I wasnt expecting and the drinking laws are crap.

I'm 5000 miles from home, the waters different.

Besides its not really how clean the water is, its stuff like mineral content that make a difference.

And I just realised that I sound like I moan alot, its notr been all bad, seeing dragon boat racing was fun and so was the football game.

yup that was my expereince, I was drinking tap water though.

But non of the other brits have drunk the water and we randomly met a brit who'd been living there for three years at the football game, I said i was ill and he asked if I'd been drinking the water.

So now its bottled water all the way.

I dont think they have a huge need for mounties, the local joke is you can watch your dog run away for three days. sasketewan is flat, if you see a hill its probably man made.

The RCMP training barracks are in Regina, and the RCMP Museum....I'm sure you could find a mounty quite handily.
