I'm really not happy today (I'm better and was actually hungry) we went to registration assuming that everything was all done and sorted, that it was just a formality but then we get told that we have to pay $493 to the university. We have to pay for laundry, for the internet, bedding a phone line and a bond, and three extra nights.

It is fair that we have to pay for these things since we didnt pay for that stuff in york but it was a hell of a shock considering neither one of the people in charge of the exchange program either side told us we had to pay for it.

then on top of this I'm going to have to buy books, apparantly their vital to follow the course and they can be as expensive as $100 per book.

I'm going to try and get out of paying for that but I might not be able to, which is annoying because I cant take them back on he plane and I wont get anywhere as much for them as I paid for them.

Its crap I've just gone from having everything paid to having to pay maybe $800 extra for 4 months.
