Tommorow I fly out to Ottawa, the first leg of my trip for my four month adventure in canada and its wierd. I know I should probably think of something more eloquent and enjoyable but an over used word word seems to sum it up pretty well.

This summer I have worked two jobs, one in a factory five days a week for eight hours a day as a shift worker getting up at 5am in the morning and coming back at 2pm one week and going into work for 2pm and coming back at 10pm the next. Never work in a factory, its not fun. I spent my days packing ginger bread men into boxes and the various jobs around it (including putting the stickers on the boxes that no one reads, or making the boxes that get thrown away once they get to the shop).

My other job on the weekends was working in whsmiths a job I've had on and off for the past two years, you know its bad when you look forward to working with difficult customers.

Those seven weeks of work seemed to drag on forever but now all of a sundden I'm flying out and it hasnt quite set in, it doesnt seem real that I'll be spending the next four months in another country roughly 6000 miles from home.

Sorry its not very exciting my canadian adventure really hasnt started yet, so heres a lolcat to make things better.

Hahah.. it sure is a hard to spell.. i believe its saskatchewan.

Sounds like a fun and interesting trip. Toronto is a great city with a lot of stuff to do.. and I've also heard good things about Vancouver. Another option could be Montreal.. quite a nice place to see too.

Your first purchase from Tim's should be a large Iced Capp. As it is written, so shall it be done!

Last year's was awesome. I saw maybe 1/3 of it before I was pwned by Morpheus.

No use to Phil, alas, since I believe he's in Regina until New Year's.

I'm really looking forward to going to toronto, my flight out is on the 21st of december but I'm probably going to be there on the 20th.

God I need to update my blog, but I've been majorly busy.

Today I got to watch the sam roberts band for free for the university open day, I had no idea who they were when they came on but I love them now they were amazing.

Sam Roberts is really awesome. He's like The Tragically Hip, in that they're both awesome artists who Canadians love, but they have trouble reaching an international audience.

It's sad in a way....but in another they're like Canada's best kept secrets and we appreciate them for it.
