but is it? it's impressive but I'd have to use it before I could say it was better. only thing that bothers me about normal OS environments is lack of space, but I guess I should just get two monitors.
I think part of the problem is that the computer needs re designing, we've got used to living with it, but actually its not that practical, the computer is always something put to one side, my house has a room just for the computers and we have absolutly no space on our desk to do anything, its difficult to write notes from the internet because of a lack of space and its not a small desk, its because the computer parts and its ten ton of wires take up too much space.
I love the idea of that surface because its an interesting solution to a problem (though i wonder if you can put anything on the surface, what if you put a cup down is it going to start changing files?).
I personally agree theres not enough space on a monitor if your doing something at a professional level, I know that in every film edit suite I've been in we have at least two monitors because you genuinly need the space and computers just dont cater for us.
