Today I met up with a girl that I havent seen in 10 years, which is kind of sad really considering we've been friends since birth (my Mum and Her mum were friends from pregnancy) we were friends and played pretty much every day, but we went to different schools and we started to drift apart, going in completly different directions, then I moved and we just stopped seeing each other.

My mum and her mum are still friends and see each other every week but for various reasons it was impractical for us to meet up with each other, but more to the point akward.

Our lives have gone in un imaginably different roots were pretty much the same age, just a couple of months different but my god its shocking.

For a while she was modeling but was never really into it, so she goes to university on and off but not really sticking at things. Shes discovered what she wants to do with her life, be a mother her daughter is one years old now and shes about to buy her first house and is engaged.

And me, well I'm at university and I cant imagine anything like this for quite a few years yet.

So when we met up to talk it was difficult, I mean we both want to be friends with each other but our lives are incredibly different, we'll rarely see each other and we've already had a 10 year gap.

We just didnt know what to say to each other.
