Every time I try and post a bullitin with html in it, it says my account has been phised, it blocks the bullitin and tells me I have to change my password.

I need myspace to tell people about updates to my site, begrudingly its one of the more effective ways I have at the moment.

Thanks, but I have a blogspot registered, I can post blogs but when you go on myspace and you recieve those annoying messages from people who want you to know far, far too much of their boring lives, well somewhere in there I was posting about the blogs I'm writing and interviews I'm doing.

If you put html in that it assumes someones trying to post an advert for ringtones or something and blocks the account, its a good and bad thing.

Your Myspace account will be fine if you just use some common sense. The way people get phished on myspace is when they click on someone's profile pictures and the "log in" screen pops up. If you're not logged in, this is legitimate, since you have to be logged in to see someone's pictures. If you're already logged in, though, it means that "log in" screen is a fake that someone is using in order to get you to enter your password, which they will then use to send messages using your account.

It's the Myspace version of the con man getting you to give him your personal information over the phone by saying he's with the phone company/credit card company/etc.
