You know I often get the feeling I'm the only person who thinks like this and holds these political beliefs, so I guess its kind of an experiement to see if I'm the only one.

It seems when ever a discussion on imigration comes up it brings out the worst in people. Many a time I've listened to people say how they dont want "them" over here, their all lazy, they dont work they just spunge off of the goverment, their stealing our houses and yet they will say their not racist. Which is ridclous because statments like that are racist. It sterotypes a huge group of people and is very ironic, your complaining about them not working, but when they do you complain their stealing your jobs.

Me I believe that mass imigration should be allowed, espically into the UK, it makes sense. For one they are not stealing our jobs because they are jobs the most able people do not want to do anymore (because more and more people are getting university educations), I'd rather a job go to a reliable forign worker than an unreliable person born in this country. Of course my other reason is simple our tax burden is going to be huge, the baby boomers severly out number people my age and they are starting to come up for retirement, they hold the political power and we have the NHS. They'll expect more and more treatments on the NHS and we'll be expected to pay for it.
The more people we have in the country who are at their working prime the better because the tax burden will be spread more evenly.

Probably my most contriversal belief is that I support the democratic empire. Or to be more precise how in large the british empire acted in the victorian times.

I believe it is perfectly justifable to invade a country that is in civil war, has a despotic ruler and so on. Remove them and bring over our instutions like rule of law, protection of property, human rights, provide education, health and all other elements of ifrastructure. Eventually when said nation is ready they move to a state of rule similar to self rule (making their own laws, deciding their economic policy stuff like that) but still under the empires supervision.

So am I completly alone?
