Excusing the terrible place name in september I'll be going on an exchange program to Regina canada for three months I cant wait but because its kind of in the middle of no where I'm getting most of my traveling done before I go to study.

I'm planning on flying in to boston, traveling to new york but then I have to fly to reinga, I'm just not sure how.

Anyone any ideas?

I know most the americans who came on exchange last semester kept trying to tell me it was pronounced as if it rhymes with virginia, but the Canadian girls (from that uni) said nope as in rhymes with vagina.

it's in the middle of nowhere?

man, most of canada's in the middle of nowhere. Canada's main geographic characteristic is actually "the middle of nowhere." This is a fact.

regina's...not that hard to get to. it's the capital of sask...one piece of advice: do NOT fly air canada

wasn't that a story somebody phoned in to the CBC with? they were explaining "the facts of life" to their son...and he sat there with this completely blank look on his face until suddenly he heard a key word, lit up and said "Oh, I KNOW! That's where the Mounties train! Thanks Dad. I get it now," and skips out of the room looking very enlightened.

I'm Canadian and I don't know anyone who pronounces it any other way than rhyming with vagina.

But it DOES sound like vagina.

Especially if you say "I Love Regina!"
