I cant wait for this film to come out, theres nothing like a big action adventure film.
I cant wait to see this, all the pirates in the world are meeting up to have a massive battle with davey jones and the east india trading company on a big whirlpool.
And for some reason in the trailer theres a clip where they sail over a sand dune.
and I have a funny feeling Captin kidd is going to show up, he was employed by the east india company to fight pirates but he latter became a pirate himself.

Is it? damn I'm kind of disapointed, but it still looks like a bloody good film, I loved the second one as well, the second one made the story alot more epic.
I'm I pushing it argueing this is our generations star wars?
I would have to say, yes, pushing it, but I'm not really your generation, so *shrug* - I guess I think your generation can do a little better than Pirates, but thats just me.
See I think the lord of the rings is ruled out of being this generations star wars because it doesnt appeal to the younger audiences as much as it could (I think it works better if it doesnt) and alot of people hate lord of the rings (from my experience it does tend to be women).
Star wars worked because it appealed to almost everyone, pirates seems to do the same thing.
