I hate it when my subs go up for scoring at midnight or 1 in the morning. My latest one is going up soon and I think thats when it's going up.

Also completely unrelated, I am studying Spanish again (I studied it a long time ago but I'd like to get back into it) and I have a tutor that comes by and speaks to me in Spanish. We were talking about trucks and it's only in Mexico and the US that they call it a "Troca". Everywhere else it's "Camioneta". Anyways I called it a troca and my tutor laughed at me cuz shes from Honduras. So for like the last 2 weeks Paul and I have been joking about driving the "troca" and teeheeing about it. Tonight I was watching the news in Spanish on Univision and they were talking about a guy who was murdered in Texas and they found his body in a Troca. I looked at Paul and we busted up laughing.
I'm going to hell.

People always ask if they can look at my sketchbook. My sketchbook is just a buncha scribbles and notes about ideas. It's a place where I try to record ideas as they come to me but there's nothing much that's fabulous looking in there. I'm sort of a doodler but my doodles don't look like much. Anyone else like that?

Happy Thanksgiving!

HOW magazine's having a showcase of poster design in their yearly magazine. They're accepting applications and the deadline is ending soon. I am probably only going to submit one, at most two designs for consideration since they have an entry fee. Which two, in order of preference, would you pick? Check them out at my Etsy store and let me know. I am leaning towards the Pygmalion Whale.

Ok, so my questions are:

1. I am thinking of adding legs to the radio and then morphing them into trunks to match the branches. Yes/no?

2. Does it even need the branches/trunks? I like the idea but it might function well without it and instead have some grass growing round it.

3. Wallpaper? I think I want to add some behind but don't want it to compete with the "song.

4. Another bird will be added but should she be perched just outside the entrance or peering out?

5. Is it obvious enough that the little window where we see the bird is sort of a semi xray cutout type thang? If not, what could I do to fix that?

Round 2:




Not entirely sure what I want to do with the music "bubble" as it were. I'm happy with the way everything else is progressing and I think that the music part is headed in the right direction at least, even if it's not quite there yet. Should I add another bird just peeking out of the entrance of the radio? I need to finish the wood grain in a coupla spots too. Suggestions for music stream would be fabulous!

Round 3:

I don't mind text messaging, I do it often and it's pretty useful for trying to coordinate people if you're all meeting up somewhere. But for the love of God if you're having dinner with me, PUT THE FREAKING PHONE AWAY!!! Your friends can live for 1 whole hour without receiving a single text message from you. You can even send them a text message and say you're having dinner with someone and you'll talk to them later. I find this incredibly rude and annoying. It's hard to carry on a proper conversation with you if you're constantly looking down to send a message. STOP IT!
