The Music Box - Last day, votes/comments appreciated!

I have an idea for "Preloved", whether I actually have any time to finish it and make it look lovely is another matter entirely. It would be called "The Music Box". It's a little girl playing an old music box. I thought about all the times I've been to estate sales and junk sales where old things that some old lady has had in her house for 50 years and all the memories and back stories that are sort of embedded in it. Here is a not so finished sketch:

Still in the process here, still kinda sketchy and stuff. I plan on adding a guy along with the lady too, and there is one part I haven't sketched yet - she'll be at the very end as an old lady with the music box. Also I plan on making the "music stream" or whatever much nicer looking. Just thought I would show you all if anyone is interested :)

I'm not sure exactly what scenes would look really cool in there either. I know that I want to draw the previous owner as a kid with the box under a tree, a cool old house and maybe her as an old lady in a neato old timey chair, so any other ideas = pretty awesome :)

looks great. the building reminds me of chris wares stuff. just one thing thats really bugging me - the little girls arm (the one in front) looks totally weird to me. good luck with the rest of it!

Great concept for the pre-loved comp, a lot more relevant than most, (bad for me, I'm also entering), and beautifully, wonderfully rendered. I'd humbly suggest though, that you make the girl's nose more petite, it seems a bit overly developed for her age. Your call of course. Anyway, great idea and awesome design! Cheers!

You just managed to fit an entire story on a tee shirt. Maybe add some exquisitely designed text to go along with the pictures and sell it to all the book store giants and make a zillion dollars. Headline; "A new educational media phenomenon, "Wear n' Tell", is sweeping the nation's pre schools with profound effect in spurring student willingness to learn". Needless to say, I'd be happy to be your publicist for a mere 10-15-25-50% :p
